This video uses film of an actual course in which
forecourt attendants were trained to fight all the
major types of fire and spillage. It gives staff a
detailed understanding of the actions to take when
confronted with different types of fire - under-bonnet
fire, tyre fire, fire from a major and minor spillage as
well as an electrical fire.
It contains details on all types of extinguishers, both
old and new colour-codes, training in how to use
them and what types of fire to use them on. It gives
staff the confidence in dealing with fires and has
been used by the majors over many years.

Covers Food hygiene on forecourts
This video covers the knowledge and skills essential
for all forecourt staff working were food is sold. It
shows the key maintenance required to ensure food
poisoning does not occur, the need for regular
checks, the dangers associated with the failure to
wash hands or put raw food near cooked food, and
provides a clear set of housekeeping routines which
every member of staff should know.
